# How much does Litescrape cost per search request?

Every Litescrape request costs the same flat rate, $0.00015 per request, on Google Search, Google Maps, Google Shopping, Google Reviews, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yelp, Tripadvisor and Apple Maps. There are no seats, subscriptions or monthly fees. Calls draw on a plan held by your credential: the Free trial ($0.0015 of credit, once per human) or Credits, prepaid from $0.01 on a wallet rail or $0.50 by card.

The Free trial's $0.0015 covers 10 requests. A $0.01 Credits purchase covers 66, and the $0.50 card minimum covers 3,333. Unused credit stays on the balance.

## Tasks that take more than one request

Count calls, not results. A Google Maps search returns its list of places in one request. Reading the reviews of one of those places is a second request, so the pair costs $0.0003. A Google Shopping search followed by one product's merchant offers is also two requests: $0.0003.

## What a call is charged

Send the request with your bearer credential:

The response is `200` with a JSON body that holds `search_metadata`, `search_parameters`, three `organic_results`, a `knowledge_graph` and `related_searches`. This call drew $0.00015 from credit. A Google Maps search for coffee shops in Austin drew $0.00015 and returned 20 places, each with the `place_id` and `data_id` that later calls take. A Google Shopping search for espresso machines with `num=3` drew $0.00015 and returned three products, each with `price`, `source` and `product_id`.

These access errors block a call:

## Frequently asked questions

### Is a failed request billed?

No. A failed delivery debits nothing from your balance, including a `503 service_unavailable` when the scraper could not complete the request. A delivered response that carries no `zc-billing` header billed nothing. When a call is billed, the header states `fundingSource` and the exact `chargedUsd` for that request.

### Does the price differ between Google, Bing, Yelp and the other engines?

No. Every service in the catalog has a single meter, `requests`, at the same rate. That holds on both the Free trial and Credits. `https://agents.litescrape.com/zcj/pso00qyqe9lb/manifest.json` lists every service with its live price.

### What does the Litescrape free trial include?

The Free trial grants $0.0015 of credit, which calls on any engine draw down at the flat rate. You claim it once per human with your bearer and an empty body at `POST https://agents.litescrape.com/zcj/pso00qyqe9lb/plans/{planId}/purchase`, using the Free trial's plan id from the manifest. If the credential has not been claimed with a verified email, the claim returns `403 verified_email_required`.

### How do I buy more credit?

Buy Credits at `POST https://agents.litescrape.com/zcj/pso00qyqe9lb/plans/{planId}/purchase` with your bearer and an `amountUsd`. The Credits plan id is in the manifest. The storefront answers with a 402, the price quote, which you pay over x402, MPP or card and then retry.
